Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with company-established quality assurance practices to achieve quality goals
  • Ensure quality assurance (QA) manual/system accurately states quality performance requirements
  • Ensure production performance conforms to the quality system guidelines
  • Establish with General Manager corporate QA goals
  • Execute employee training in QA practices to achieve corporate QA goals
  • Supplier audit systems
  • Application of SPC
  • Responsible for maintaining calibration system
  • Maintain Canada Stampings Ltd. system implementation to ensure registration to TS-16949
  • Management Team Member and TS-16949 Management Representative
  • Ensure effective operation of quality system
  • Responsible for all quality related documents and records
  • Team lead all Advanced Quality Planning
  • Responsible for controlling all customer supplied drawings/specifications
  • Responsible for verification/identification of customer supplied products at time of receipt
  • Responsible for verification/identification of all raw materials
  • Responsible for submitting all sample submissions including PPAP
  • Reviewing and dispositioning of all non-conformances
  • Responsible for approving corrective action procedures for all non-conformances
  • Responsible for all statistical technique training
  • Responsible for all quality functions within the quality assurance department
  • Training availability to all personnel within department and identifying training needs throughout

Initial Qualifications for Hire:

  • University degree or technical school certificate in related sciences
  • Previous experience in QA Administration
  • 5 years of management experience
  • Member of SME or ASQ an asset
